We are partnering with maternal health non-profit, Every Mother Counts, on a limited-edition UNISEX t-shirt capsule in honor of Mother’s Day.
100% of the retail selling price of every tee sold will be donated to Every Mother Counts, an organization that educates the public about maternal health and invests in community-led programs to improve access to essential maternity care.
EMC engages communities, thought leaders, and partners in efforts to affect maternal health care practices and policies at a systemic level.
A shocking and heartbreaking 800 women die every day from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth. Almost all global maternal deaths are prevented by ensuring women have access to safe, equitable and respectful maternity care. Unfortunately, too few women have the access they need and Every Mother Counts is advocating for and with community-based organizations to change that. Our capsule is focused around the phrase, Dar Luz, which means both to ‘bring to light’ and ‘give birth to’ in Spanish. This collection is intended to celebrate mothers everywhere and bring to light the change that needs to happen for quality, respectful, and equitable maternity care.
