Now, if you’re new around these here parts then you should know that I live in the beautiful (-ly dry and miserably hot) state of Arizona. And while it may look as though it’s a crisp mid-afternoon day in early autumn (do I get an award for making that kind of magic?), I was actually sweating profusely beneath that green cardigan. Because typically, here in good ol’ AZ, it doesn’t start cooling off until Halloween day. Which I’m in luck, because that day is today! I couldn’t be happier to welcome cooler weather.
So here we are, at my favorite fall festival, the Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party, in my favorite go-to Fall outfit. I like to play around with different items and colors in my closet, but for the most part I’ll grab my grey floppy hat, a loose and comfortable sweater cardigan(which ever one most resembles a blanket that I can snuggle in), a solid neutral tone top whether it’s loose or tight, some skinny jeans and a pair of comfortable booties.
The best part about this kind of simple fall outfit is that it’s so easy to customize it and make a totally different outfit by switching out different items.
Okay. Back to the pumpkin and chili festival because that’s what’s really important here.
Like I said… Schnepf Farms knows how to make Arizona feel like it’s not Arizona… you know what I mean? Probably not unless your a native like me, but to give you an idea, check out this blog post! In all honesty they really work their magic and put on a great festival every year. With their delicious chili and cornbread, the haunted train ride, petting zoo, roller coaster, pig races, gigantic corn field maze and a great pumpkin patch, it’s an event that I really look forward to ever year.
